Obituary for Vincent Strumolo

Loving Son & Brother

Vincent Strumolo, 48 passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019. Born in Glen Ridge, the son of Thomas and Concetta (Pallante) Strumolo, he was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield.
He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University. A long-term cancer survivor, Vincent was the author of “Fight for Life”. He was also a former substitute teacher for the Belleville Board of Education and also worked with Senator Gary Furnari as a Senator’s Aid.

He is survived by his loving parents, Thomas and Concetta Strumolo; his brother, Chief Thomas J. Strumolo and his wife, Maria; his nephew and nieces, Tommy Jr., Natalia and Vincenza; many loving aunts and uncles and his beloved dog, Bella.

The funeral will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley at 8:30 a.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.

The entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m.
