Mary Serio, 83 East Stroudsburg, PA passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019. Born in Newark, the daughter of Pasquale “Charlie” and Lucy (Furci) Rosanio, she lived in Belleville prior to moving to Pennsylvania 21 years ago. She retired as a bookkeeper from Grants Department Store in Belleville.
The beloved wife of the late Alphonse Serio, she is survived by her children, Tricia R. Serio and her husband, Jeff Laney and Gary Serio and his wife, Valerie and her grandchildren, Vincent and Kymberly Serio and Jacob and Eli Laney.
The funeral will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
