Obituary for John J. Buglione
Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather
John J. Buglione, 93 of Cedar Grove passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Born in Dumont, the son of Groffredo and Josephine (Malagrino) Buglione, he lived in Fairfield, Clifton and Nutley before moving to Cedar Grove 14 years ago. John served in the Army and was a World War II veteran. He retired as a Typographer for Newark Trade Typographers in East Orange and he was an avid bowler.
The beloved husband of Marie C. (Scaglione) Buglione, he is survived by his children, John J. Buglione, Jr., Joanne Buglione, Barbara Schiavone, Denise Versage and Deborah Giabatista, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Phyllis Vitillo and Marie Buglione.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 10:30 a.m.
The cremation will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, (www.diabetes.org/) would be appreciated.
