Obituary for Ida "Edith" Jenkins

Ida “Edith” Jenkins, 97 passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Born in Belleville, the daughter of the late Anthony and Assunta (Jannarone) Trignano, she lived in Belleville most of her life before moving to Nutley and then Bloomfield. Prior to her retirement she was an assembler at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Belleville and was an avid bowler.
The wife of the late William Jenkins, she is survived by her loving sisters Charlotte Cafone and Veronica De Lorenzo. Along with her parents, Edith was predeceased by her brother Anthony Trignano, and two sisters Phyllis Mirro and Jeanne Cleffi.
The funeral will be held at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Friday at 8:30 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Nutley.
The interment will follow at Glendale cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
