Obituary for Anna V Nowgruckes
Anna C. Nowgruckes, 87 of Nutley passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her home. Born in Belleville, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Witter) Nowgruckes, she lived in Belleville prior to moving to Nutley 20 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Registered Nurse with Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. Formerly, she served as a Nun and teacher with the Religious Sisters of St. Lucy Filippini and a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at Holy Family Church in Nutley.
She is survived by her dear twin sister, Theresa Nowgruckes. Along with her parents, Anna was predeceased by by her sisters, Helen Goodness and Mary Hay and her brothers, Frank Nowgruckes, Jr., and William and Alex Duduk.
The Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Holy Family Church in Nutley at 9:30 a.m.
The interment of her urn will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
There will be no public visitation prior to the funeral mass.
